Since 2002, ‘Shelter for Homeless People’ has ignited a revolution of compassion. We offer more than just shelter; we provide free education, vocational training, and meals, reshaping destinies and erasing the stain of poverty. Along with that securing the release of innocent prisoners, ensuring access to clean water, providing healthcare, and facilitating higher education for deserving students. Our mission is a thunderous call to action, a beacon of hope in the darkest nights. Through unwavering dedication, they forge a path towards a brighter future, leaving an impact that reverberates through generations.
Our aim is to enhance the well-being and prospects of children residing in shelters, ensuring that each child can thrive regardless of their circumstances. Our primary objective is to safeguard these children from exploitation and equip them with the skills to navigate emotional and financial challenges. However, our ultimate aspiration is for the children under our care to achieve stability and flourish in their lives
SHELTER HIGHER EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAM.
The Shelter for the Homeless operates the ‘Shelter Higher Education Support Program,’ which assists students facing financial constraints in paying their fees. We welcome applications from students referred to us by colleges and universities, who find themselves unable to pursue their studies due to financial limitations, thereby hindering their access to classes.
SHELTER SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN.
The Shelter School for Special Children offers a nurturing environment tailored for blind, deaf, and mute children, providing them with comprehensive support. Our services include complimentary education, essential educational tools, uniforms, and convenient transportation options, all aimed at empowering these remarkable individuals to thrive.
SHELTER HEALTH SERVICES
The Shelter Health Service provides financial assistance to needy patients who can’t afford medical treatment. Recognizing the challenge of reaching underdeveloped areas during emergencies, the organization has introduced a free “Rickshaw Ambulance Service,” successfully saving lives without financial burden.
CLEAN WATER PROJECT
The homeless shelter is actively working to ensure access to safe drinking water. Recently, they dug a well in Goth Najo, Mithi, Tharparker, Sindh, providing clean water to residents and sparing them the arduous trek for water in the desert. Additionally, plans are underway to install hand pumps in remote areas to further facilitate access to fresh water.
SHELTER CARE CENTER.
We are embarking on a new endeavor called the “Shelter Care Center” specifically tailored to offer aid to destitute, disadvantaged elderly widows. This center will extend its services to widows without homes, offering them complimentary accommodation, meals, and comprehensive medical care with utmost dignity and respect. Additionally, the Shelter Care Center will extend its compassion to orphaned children, endeavoring to provide them with an environment closely resembling that of a nurturing family, aiming to bridge the gap left by the absence of their biological parents.
